12th ANNUAL "EVENING ON ANTIQUE
ROW" TO TAKE PLACE MARCH 1st, 2008, BENEFITTING THE HISTORICAL SOCIETY OF PALM BEACH COUNTY
The Young Friends of the Historical Society
of Palm Beach County and the South Dixie Antique Row Association will welcome over
2,000 visitors to the 13th Annual “Evening on Antique Row,”
the popular seven-block street festival held within the nationally
acclaimed antiques district of West Palm Beach on Saturday, March 1st, 2008.
The annual benefit
for the Historical Society begins at 5:30 PM and continues until 9:30 PM and provides visitors
with food, music and entertainment, plus a stroll through the corridor’s
unique array of more than 45 shops. Antique Row shops are well known for their fine collections of
17th to 20th century antiques, decorative arts, period furnishings,
collectibles and more. The area has been a favorite among the world’s
leading interior designers and heralded as one of the east coast’s
premier antique and design destinations. Highlights of this year’s
event included horse and carriage rides through the corridor and a
raffle with gift certificates to fine restaurants and hotels in Palm
Beach County and stores along Antique Row.
